OUR STORY
Born from the sea.
Shaped in Corsica.
ALBORE was born in Corsica from a deep passion for the sea, spearfishing and craftsmanship.
Every speargun is designed, shaped, adjusted and balanced by hand in our workshop in Olmeto. Production is deliberately limited, and every creation reflects the attention given to the choice of materials, lines, balance and finishes.
The aim is not simply to build high-performance equipment. It is to create a speargun that disappears in the water: natural in movement, precise in its behaviour and built to last.
THE CRAFT
From raw material
to finished speargun.
Shaping, sanding, finishing and assembly are all carried out in the workshop. Every stage contributes to the speargun's final behaviour as much as to its identity.
Assemble
The different components are assembled to create a stable, rigid foundation before the shaping process begins.
Define the lines
Machining, shaping and sanding gradually give the speargun its profile, proportions and character.
Finish by hand
Finishing, assembly and final adjustments complete each piece before it leaves the workshop.
MATERIALS & FINISHES
Every material has a purpose.
Aesthetics and performance are never separated. The choice of materials directly contributes to the rigidity, balance and longevity of the speargun.
Selected for its stability, mechanical properties and the unique character of its grain.
Used when the design requires it to increase rigidity and control the behaviour of the overall construction.
Marine oil, varnish or sand grip: the final protection is selected according to the model and desired finish.
OLMETO — CORSICA
A workshop shaped by the sea.
ALBORE designs and builds its spearguns in Olmeto, in Southern Corsica. Here, the Mediterranean is not simply the backdrop to the workshop: it is the environment where every idea finds its purpose. Each creation is born from this immediate connection between the workshop and the water for which it was designed.
